Theme:  God Is

2018 Annual Youth Day

Minister Jason Williams, Speaker

Minister Jason Williams is the fourth child to Superintendent Jerry and Lady Diann Williams. Minister Jason L. Williams is married to Sister Leshela Williams and father of 5 children. He is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. He has served in various capacities within the Body of Christ across denominational lines. He has a deep burden for souls and is committed to living the life and preaching the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world in sore need of salvation.

Minster Williams confessed his Faith in Jesus Christ at First Trinity COGIC (Pine Bluff, AR) under the leadership of Saint Dewitt Hill in his teens. Though not licensed at the time, he delivered his first sermon at the tender age of sixteen.

He previously served as Pastor of Zion Circle Missionary Baptist church in Alorton, IL When the assignment there ended, he served at Christ Community Temple COGIC (CCT) in Saint Louis, MO. where he was licensed in the COGIC as a minister under the leadership of Bishop Dr. William L. Harper. While at CCT, he served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, Praise Team Psalmist and Vice-President of the Youth Department. In these roles, he flourished and was a blessing to the body of Christ.

After finishing college in Saint Louis, the Lord impressed upon Minster Williams to return home to Arkansas to assist in service with his father, Superintendent Jerry W. Williams at Prayer Garden COGIC (Pine Bluff). Upon his return to Arkansas, he currently serves as Associate Minister, President of the Youth Department and Sunday School teacher.

By the grace of God and leading of the Holy Ghost, Minister Williams is a candidate for Elder in the Church of God in Christ. This is a Holy calling and grave responsibility and one that he is humbly undertaking. He feels like Paul who says in Ephesians 3:8, “Unto me who am less than the least of all the saints is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentles the unsearchable riches of Christ.”

Minister Williams is a servant of Jesus Christ and apt to preach and teach wherever you see him. He is yielded to God and as a result God uses him as an instrument. He solicits your prayers for his strength in the Lord as he carries out the call of God on his life.  He is employed with a fortune 500 company in Software sales.
