Bishop Robert G. Rudolph, Jr., was installed to the office of Adjutant General of the Church of God in Christ on April 3, 2017, in Memphis, TN, by Bishop Charles E. Blake. He is the Chief Minister of Protocol for the Church of God in Christ and assists the Presiding Bishop in directing the National Adjutancy.

Rudolph was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of five. He preached his first sermon at the age of seven while standing on a chair in the pulpit and at age of eleven licensed as a minister. Bishop Rudolph won the National Oratorical Contest of the Church Of God In Christ during UNAC as a teenager. Shortly thereafter, he was summoned to the world headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee to be ordained at the tender age of sixteen by the Presiding Bishop J. O. Patterson, Sr.

In addition to his twenty-eight years of pastoral experience, he had a secular career which spanned three decades of service in the areas of politics and government, including speechwriting and as a reading clerk for the Arkansas Senate, as an aide to a United States Representative and a Special Assistant to the Governor of Arkansas. Rudolph earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Theology, a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Episcopal Studies. Bishop Rudolph is the eldest son of the late Pastor Robert G. Rudolph and Mrs. Peggy S. Rudolph. He is happily married to Lady Michelle Parham Rudolph who has wholeheartedly supported his ministry.

Between 2000 and 2017, Bishop Rudolph served as Special Assistant to the then General Secretary, Elder A. Z. Hall, Jr., and later Assistant General Secretary to Bishop Joel H. Lyles, Jr. In 2007, upon the recommendation of the former Adjutant General and current General Board member, Bishop Matthew Williams, he was appointed as the Scribe of the National Adjutancy, where he served in this capacity between 2007 and 2017. In addition, he currently serves the Office of the Presiding Bishop as an Associate White House Liaison.

Bishop Rudolph was elected the President of the historic 2014 Episcopal Class. This was the largest class of individuals to be consecrated to the Office of Bishop at one time in the history of our church. On November 9, 2014, he and his classmates were consecrated to this sacred Office by Bishop Charles E. Blake at the 107th Holy Convocation in St. Louis, MO.
